Rochester, N.Y. - An 80-year-old man acquitted of killing a Rochester woman was sentenced to nearly three years behind bars Thursday in a separate case.
Willie James Kimble was acquitted two years ago for a murder that took place in 1972.
After his acquittal, Kimble faced new federal charges for failing to register as a sex offender in Florida.
Kimble was sentenced to 33 months in prison and five years probation.
