Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester Police are investigating a shooting on Dr. Samuel McCree Way that injured a man.
Police said a 27-year-old man was dropped off at Strong Hospital Wednesday morning with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
The victim said he was standing in a vacant lot at 97 Dr. Samuel McCree Way around 2:00 a.m when someone tried to rob him.
The suspect shot the man and ran off.
