Police Arrest Suspect in Sunday Morning Homicide

Rochester, N.Y. – Police have arrested a Rochester woman in connection with a Sunday morning homicide.

Police say 35-year-old Monreall Wright died after he was stabbed in the upper torso around 1:30 Sunday morning.

Police say the stabbing happened on Sawyer St. Wright was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

Sunday night, just hours after the stabbing, police arrested 26-year old Tanisha Davis. She's charged with second degree murder and is expected to be arraigned Monday morning.
