Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester police continue to investigate a stabbing Friday night that sent a woman to the hospital.
According to Lt. Ron Malley of the Rochester Police Department, officers were called to a reported stabbing in the 800 block of Joseph Ave around 8:15 p.m.
A 48-year-old Rochester woman was found with cuts to her upper body.
She was transported to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation revealed that the suspect and victim may have been involved in a dispute prior to the assault.
Investigators encourage anyone with information to call 911.
