Geneva, N.Y. - Geneva Police are searching for a man accused of stabbing two people during a fight at a bar early Sunday morning.
Police identified John Mccoggle, 29, as their suspect in the stabbing.
They were called to Trotta’s Bar on Castle Street around 2:00 a.m. for the report of an assault.
They discovered two men who were attempting to break up a fight in the bar had been stabbed; one to the hand and one to the chest.
The man stabbed in the chest had to be flown to Strong Memorial Hospital. He is listed in critical, but stable condition.
The other victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Police said Mccoggle should be considered armed and dangerous.
