NEW YORK (AP) - Federal health officials say it's not particularly dangerous, but a stomach bug sweeping the globe is very nasty.
There have been scores of cases in the U.S. since September caused by the new Sydney strain of norovirus.
It's highly contagious and often spreads in places like schools, cruise ships and nursing homes, especially during the winter.
It can cause days of vomiting and diarrhea.
