Attica, N.Y. -- State Police say Amber Salansky, 19, of Macedon tried to smuggle 20 grams of synthetic marijuana into the Wyoming County Correctional Facility on Dunbar Road in Attica. 

Police say it happened on June 9. The drugs were allegedly hidden on her body in balloons and plastic wrap.

Salansky is charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd, a misdemeanor.  She was issued on appearance ticket.
