The Thanksgiving turkey will be gobbling up more of Americans' budget this year.

The American Farm Bureau says Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings for about 10 people will cost $49.28. That's up about 3 percent from last year.

Turkey prices are up about $0.04 per pound because of the summer drought. It cost farmers more to feed the birds.

There's still something to be thankful for though. Prices on side dishes like stuffing, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce are all down slightly from 2011.
