Penfield, N.Y. -- The third annual Push Yourself 5K Challenge was held on Sunday morning to benefit the Rochester Area CrimeStoppers and Lymphoma/Leukemia Society.

The 5K is a non-competitive run and walk for people of all ages.

"Push Yourself" teamed up with CrimeStoppers to remember Paulie Vasconcellos Jr., an unsolved crime murder victim, and to benefit Dan Prinze, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

The organizer of the event and close family friend of Vasconcellos, Paul Valenti, said, "We can't allow the homicides to be forgotten, this event kind of reminds people, (Vasconcellos) was murdered in October 2010, so we can't allow that to be forgotten."

All of the proceeds raised at the event go towards Rochester Area CrimeStoppers and the Lymphoma/Leukemia Society.
