Rochester, N.Y.- Thieves broke into a clothing boutique in Rochester’s South Wedge neighborhood.

On Monday, someone smashed a rock through the door at Thread on South Avenue.

Several viewers contacted 13WHAM News to get the word out in hopes of catching who did it.

It’s one of Your Stories.

Store co-owner Michael Ford says the thieves stole an estimated $20,000 worth of fall inventory.

“Going into the holidays we now have no inventory,” said Ford, “so it’s very hard to come back from this.”

This is the third time the shop has been burglarized.

Ford says they applied for a grant from the City of Rochester to get a security camera installed.
