Rochester, N.Y. – Two adults and one child were rescued from an apartment fire on Sunday morning, firefighters say.

When firefighters got to the apartment complex there was fire coming from the third floor.  Firefighters had to call second and third alarms shortly after arrival because of the size of the building and fire. Fifty-five firefighters ended up being on scene.

Firefighters say there was a good amount of people in the building at the time of the fire, but everyone appears to have gotten out safely.

The third floor apartment that caught fire was occupied at the time of the fire, but everyone inside made it out safely.  Firefighters say that apartment is completely gone.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
