A few isolated showers and brief thundershowers will be possible this afternoon along a lake breeze boundary south of Lake Ontario.
Although most of these showers will only create a brief heavy downpour, some small pea sized hail will also be possible due to cooler temperatures aloft in the atmosphere.
The showers will move north to south by late afternoon and evening.
The strong June sun will still push the temperature into the low to mid 70s this afternoon with the evening staying near 70. Any showers and thunder will taper this evening.
Overnight will be partly cloudy with a low in the lower 50s. Another round of showers and thunder may be possible by Thursday afternoon.
