Greece, N.Y. - The Town of Greece hopes to add another town justice to handle the increased caseload, which has nearly doubled in the last two decades.
Voters will decide in the November election if the Town of Greece should add a fourth justice.
If voters approve the measure, people who want to run for the new justice position will appear on the November 2013 ballot.
The new justice would start January 2014.
Town Supervisor John Auberger said in 1990 the town handled about 10,000 cases.
Last year, the town court had more than 18,000 cases.
