Rochester, N.Y.- Rochester Police say a man was struck and killed by a freight train near Village Gate Tuesday afternoon.
It happened just after 2 p.m. on tracks on North Goodman Street, behind the Village Gate complex.
Police say it appears two men were walking on the tracks, when a freight train came up behind them and hit one of the men.
Train traffic was stopped in the area so police could investigate.
