Penfield, N.Y. - A scary start to the day for two workers in Penfield Wednesday.
Two town employees had to be hoisted out of a trench after they fell in Wednesday morning. It happened on Baird Road near Atlantic Avenue.
They were installing storm drains, when a chain broke, causing them to fall. As a precaution, they were hoisted out on backboards.
Both were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
