Prank Call Sparks Alert At UR Campus

Rochester, N.Y. - A police investigation had the University of Rochester campus on high alert Monday night.

Messages were sent to students and employees telling them to stay away from the 1100 block of South Plymouth Avenue, and to seek shelter.

Police say the investigation was sparked by what turned out to be a prank phone call. No arrests were made in the investigation.
