Mendon, N.Y. – The Rochester & Finger Lakes Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association hosted a Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday at Mendon Ponds Park. 

The event was emceed by 13WHAM’s Norma Holland. 

David Midland, president of the Alzheimer’s Association in Rochester says they are holding six walks all together.

Midland says, “All the walks together will raise approximately a quarter million dollars to help us support the programs and services that people need, as well as the research to try and find a cure and prevention of this terrible disease.”
