Waterloo, N.Y. – Police say a Florida man broke into a home and sexually abused a person early Friday morning.
Michael Foulkrod, 43, of Port Orange, Florida allegedly broke into a home on West Main St. in Waterloo just after 2:30 a.m. Police say Foulkrod held a sleeping person inside the home down and forced them to have sex.
The victim was able break away from Foulkrod and hide inside the home until he left. Foulkrod fled to Seneca Falls after he was unable to find the victim.
There were other people inside the home at the time, but they were not injured. Police later found two dagger-like knives inside the home that allegedly belonged to Foulkland.
Waterloo Village Police arrested Foulkland around 5:30 a.m. He was arraigned on charges of burglary, sexual abuse, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful imprisonment and taken to Seneca County Jail on no bail.
