Rochester, N.Y. – Police say a 56-year-old male is in surgery after being shot behind a house on Weaver St. Sunday afternoon.
The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and taken into surgery, according to police.
Police say the victim is believed to be the landlord of the residence who was checking on his property when two individuals confronted him and then shot him during the confrontation.
The victim’s name has not been released and there is no word on his condition.
