Rochester, N.Y. - The families of the victims killed in the Christmas Eve Webster ambush are getting a big boost from the Rochester Lancers.

The indoor soccer team has raised over $3,500 from Thursday night's Lancer's game. The team held a boot drive, with the crowd of over 5,200 pitching in with donations.

West Webster Firefighters and their families were at the game, and came on the field for a moment of silence.

"The support of the community is overwhelming," said Kevin Crouch, Public Information Officer for the West Webster Fire Department.  "Words cannot express what we're experiencing from the community."
