Webster, N.Y. – Heavy smoke and flames flared up the Huntington Meadows Stable in Webster Thursday afternoon.
The fire started in a storage shed in front of the main stable where horse are kept.
No horses were injured in the fire.
Crews were able to stabilize the situation within a matter of hours.
“Fortunately everything came together and we were able to contain it to the one structure,” said Webster Fire Department Chief Craig Atkins.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
