(WHAM-TV) In York County, South Carolina, a family dog is credited for helping a family find a missing two-year-old boy.
Peyton Myrick was out with his grandfather when the boy wandered off into the woods.
His parents weren't home and Peyton was missing for the entire day.
Neighbors and family had searched for hours, when the family's Australian Shepherd "Ashepoo" came out of the woods.
The shepherd dog led a search team more than a mile to where Peyton had fallen asleep behind an old barn.
Ashepoo laid alongside Peyton all day to keep him warm.
