In a video posted on the department's Youtube page officers urge dog owners to keep their pets on leashes.
Officers warn of citations, fines and possible owner arrests for dog bites.
On its Dog Bite Prevention page, the city explains its Dangerous Dog Ordinance, lists requirements for dogs, and provides links ranging from-- solutions for pet owners' problems--to providing access to animal adoption services.
