MANLIUS, N.Y. (AP) - Police in central New York say a bicyclist has been killed in a collision with a car.
The accident happened just before 8 a.m. Tuesday in the eastern Syracuse suburb of Manlius. Police say the cyclist was heading north into an intersection when he collided with a westbound car and was thrown to the ground.
He was taken to University Hospital in Syracuse, where he was pronounced dead.
Police aren't releasing the victim's name until his relatives are told.
The accident is under investigation.
