Montezuma, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say two people have died after their vehicles collided on a central New York road in an accident that also involved a school bus.

The Cayuga County Sheriff' Office says 43-year-old Dawn Wilder-Smith of Port Byron was driving north on Route 90 in the town of Montezuma Tuesday night when she crossed into the path of a southbound Seneca Falls school bus.

Police say Wilder-Smith's car hit the side of the bus then collided with a southbound vehicle. Police say Wilder-Smith and a passenger in the other vehicle, 53-year-old Ann Eider of Clifton Springs, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Eider's husband is in serious condition at a Syracuse hospital, while her daughter is in good condition.

One of the 15 students on the bus suffered a minor injury.
