Salles Set to Return for Friday's Home Game - 12/03/13

Lancers Expect Star Forward Back on Field after Recovering from Knee Injury.

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers expect to have an important piece of their roster back this Friday, as they host Pennsylvania at 7pm. Brazilian forward, Mauricio Salles should be back on the field for the Lancers and will look to return to last years form, where he finished second in the MISL in total points and goals.

Salles, who finished second in total points in the MISL in back to back seasons, has missed the first three games of the Lancers season due to a meniscus tear in his knee. His lethal left foot will be quickly appreciated by the Lancers bench, as the team has yet to score a three-pointer this season. Salles led all MISL players in three-point goals the past two seasons, with 17.

Dont miss Salles return to the Lancers as they take on new franchise, Pennsylvania Roar this Friday at 7pm at the Blue Cross Arena.

The Rochester Lancers host the Pennsylvania Roar Friday, December 6 at 7pm at the Blue Cross Arena. The first 1,000 fans receive a free ice scraper! Bring a new toy for Hillside and receive 50% off a game ticket. Kids 12 and under are FREE at every Lancers home game. Discounted tickets are available at all area Wegmans locations.
