Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Alex Gordon hit a two-run homer and Jeff Francoeur had two doubles and a pair of RBI to lead the Kansas City Royals to an 8-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday.
Chris Getz, Jarrod Dyson and Alex McClure each drove in a run for the Royals, who saw starter Jeremy Guthrie give up two runs on six hits while striking out eight over six innings.
Alejandro De Aza hit a solo homer and Jeff Keppinger knocked in a run for the White Sox, who went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position.
Starter Erik Johnson allowed one unearned run on two hits and struck out three over four innings.
