San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard will be sidelined 10-to-14 days with quadriceps tendinitis in his left knee.

An MRI on Friday discovered the injury.

The second-year pro has averaged 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds a game over nine contests this season after averaging 7.9 points and 5.1 boards through 64 games last season.

He is not scheduled to travel with the team on its upcoming six-game road trip, which starts Wednesday in Boston.
