The New York Islanders announced on Wednesday that forwards Kyle Okposo and Doug Weight will miss time with various problems.

Okposo is expected to miss the first three games of the Isles' current seven- game road trip after being diagnosed with swine flu.

Weight suffered an apparently serious upper-body injury on Friday and is expected to miss between four and six weeks.
