New Charges in Sodus Double Homicide

Sodus, N.Y. – Wayne County’s district attorney said that an indictment is likely coming Monday or Tuesday in the case of a double homicide in Sodus.

District Attorney Rick Healy said that a grand jury is expected to convene in the coming days, with an indictment against Dante Taylor, 32, of Rochester likely to come by Tuesday.

Taylor is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Terri and Stacey Moulton. Investigators believe the mother and daughter interrupted a burglary at a Sodus home on July 14.

Taylor was arrested in 2004 for attempted robbery and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released in 2011.

Dante Taylor has been indicted for murder in the first degree among other charges. He will be arraigned at Wayne County Court on Wednesday at 1 pm.
