Deputies: DWI arrest, Passenger tried to exit vehicle

Parma, N.Y. – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hamlin resident early Sunday morning after a passenger alerted them that the driver was intoxicated.

Deputies say they were investigating reports of a female passenger attempting to exit a moving vehicle driving westbound on West Ridge Road around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

After they located the vehicle, the passenger said she was attempting to get out of the car because the driver, Joseph Wall, was not in the right state to drive.

Deputies arrested Wall, 19, for Driving While Intoxicated. Wall was released and issued an appearance ticket.
