Tom Dougherty beat James Szczesniak on the Republican line -- 51 to 49 percent

To complicate things further, errors made in the Geneseo and Caledonia voting districts leave up to 59 Conservative votes in question.
According to the Board of Elections, Conservative ballots were given out to voters regardless of party affiliation.
It is expected to take days to sort out that problem.
"The voter turnout was strong, Szczesniak said. And we appreciate that. So it's much closer than either of us would have liked, but the people have spoken."
Republican candidate Tom Dougherty said, "Mistakes are going to happen and youve just got to deal with that. Hopefully they can be corrected without the outcome of the election being affected in a major way.
So the Conservative primary still to be decided based on the resolution of balloting error and the tallying of absentee ballots.
