Suspect in double robberies arrested

Rochester, N.Y. - A man wanted in connection with two robberies more than 100 miles apart is now in custody.

Police arrested 29-year-old Corey Ryan Tuesday afternoon in Rochester.

Investigators say he robbed a deli outside Elmira last week before robbing a gas station on West Main Street in Webster later that day.

Police say surveillance images captured helped them identify and arrest Ryan.

He is charged with robbery and petit larceny.

He is being held on bail until his court hearing next week.
