High Wind Warning for WNY & High Wind Advisory for Counties East

A High Wind Warning is in effect for Monroe, Wyoming, Genesee and Orleans Counties through 4 PM Dec. 25th Thursday. Southwest winds of 30-45 mph may gust up to 65 mph.

A High Wind Advisory is in effect for Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego and Lewis Counties from 1 AM Thursday to 7 PM Thursday. Southwest winds 20-30 mph but may gust up to 50 mph.

Four injured in Williamson crash

Williamson, N.Y. - Four people were injured in a serious crash in Wayne County late Wednesday night.

Their car veered off Kenyon Road, flipped several times and landed in a ditch around 10 p.m.

Police believe the driver,  20-year-old Zachary Bergen of Williamson was going too fast.

Bergen is in guarded condition at Strong Hospital.
Three passengers, Adam Clouser, Amber Gartley, and Steven Shane were also taken to Strong.

Adam Clouser was listed in satisfactory condition early Wednesday morning.

No word was released on Amber Gartley's condition.

Steven Shane was no longer at Strong whan the above information was released.
