Metal particles found in antibiotic vials

Washingon - The Food and Drug Administration is warning doctors and hospitals nationwide to pull an antibiotic commonly used to treat infections.

The FDA is recalling two kinds of injections because metal and cotton particles were found floating in vials of the drug.

That could cause blood clots. Clots can lead to a stroke, heart attack or other serious health complications.
