Rochester man arrested, accused in three bank robberies

Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester Police arrested a man they said is reponsible for three bank robberies in three days.

Terry Williams, 46 of Rochester, was arrested Wednesday just after he allegedly robbed the Vision Federal Credit Union on E. Main St. in Rochester.

Police said Williams was also responsible for two other bank robberies:

  • The robbery of the Key Bank at Bausch & Lomb Place on November 18.
  • The robbery of Citizen Bank on Franklin St. on November 19.

Williams was charged with third-degree robbery.

Police credit collaboration between patrol and Major Crimes units, as well as the community.
