Rochester man injured during Jay St. shooting
Rochester, N.Y. - A man was shot in the city early Sunday morning.
The Rochester Police Department responded to Jay and Broad streets for reports of shots fired shortly before 2:30 a.m. Police officers did not locate a victim at the scene, but a 34-year-old man arrived at Rochester General Hospital around 2:40 a.m. with a gunshot wound.
Police said the victim had a non-life-threatening injury to the upper body. Authorities said the incidents occurred near Jay and Charles streets.
Police are investigating a connection between the victim and a suspect.
