Mayor-Elect Warren seeking public's ideas

Rochester, N.Y. - Mayor-Elect Lovely Warren is seeking the publics input on addressing issues vital to the City of Rochesters future.

Warren's transition process is progressing with a review of city's operations.

The goal is to develop proposals that address the key challenges the city faces.

Nearly 100 citizens, representing a diverse cross section of the community, recently met to discuss issues of education, public safety, economic development, workforce opportunities, neighborhood quality of life and fiscal responsibility.

The focus groups then addressed three questions:
1. What does city government do well?
2. In what areas does city government need to improve?
3. How can city government be a player/partner in making those improvements?

The public is encouraged to review the focus groups findings and share their thoughts on these important issues.

Public comment is open until 5:00 pm on December 20th at www.warrentransition.com.
