Hornell students sent to hospital

Hornell, N.Y.-- Several Hornell High School students were taken to the hospital Monday morning, after concern about air quality in the school.

According to the Hornell Superintendent, the students were evaluated by nurses at Hornell High School after some of the students said they felt sick. As a precaution, approximately six of those students were transported to the hospital for observation.

Other students were told to Shelter in Place which means they stayed in their classrooms while the building air quality was checked.

The school was evaluated, and there was no sign of gas leaks or any other issues. The entire process lasted about an hour.

Classes are now continuing as normal.
