Warren heading to Albany for budget talks

Rochester, N.Y. -- Mayor Lovely Warren and several other mayors will be heading to Albany Monday to talk to lawmakers about Gov. Andrew Cuomos proposed budget.

Warren, along with the mayors of Syracuse, Buffalo, and New York City, will testify before the states budget committees about the parts of Cuomos plan they do and do not support.

The plan included a call for universal pre-K, something New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio wants to fund by raising taxes on the wealthy.

Cuomo said it is possible to fund the program by cutting spending elsewhere.
