Study: Fewer teens, more adults using Facebook

Washington -- The face of Facebook is changing.

The number of teenagers using the site has dropped more than 25 percent in the last three years, according to a study by iStrategyLabs. 

About 9.8 million teenagers are on Facebook today, compared to about 13 million three years ago.

The number of older Americans joining the site has increased, with nearly 28 million adults 55 or older now registered. Thats an 80 percent increase from 2011.
