Robber's image caught by Pittsford bank cam

Pittsford, N.Y. - Pictures of Pittsford a bank robbery suspect have been released by the Monroe County Sheriffs Office.

The bank at 9 North Main Street was robbed about 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, 5'8" tall, wearing a blonde wig, dark pants, green hoodie and aviator sunglasses.  The robbery remains under investigation.

Two deputies were injured while responding to the bank robbery when their police car was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of Monroe Avenue and Clover Street. Both deputies were transported to Strong Memorial  Hospital with minor injuries.
