No arrests in triple homicide

Rochester, N.Y. -- Rochester police continue investigating a triple homicide in the city's Southwest Quadrant. No arrests have been made in connection with the three murder victims found Monday morning by police at 809 Chili Ave.

Monday, family members identified the victims as Jaquelyn Simmons and her cousin, Jermeliah, as well as Michael Nelson.

Tuesday, Nelson's mother said she was not ready to talk, as she was still waiting for more information from the police investigation. A relative said they were doing as well as could be expected.

Family members of the Simmons cousins said they were waiting for positive identification of the bodies by the medical examiner's office. A woman who identified herself as Jaquelyn's mother stated she wanted to see her daughter for herself.

"She was a nice lady. (You) hate to see that happen to her like that," said John Monroe, who lives next door to the scene.

Rochester police remained tight lipped about their investigation. As of Tuesday night, there were no new updates.
