Troopers: Local man was driving under influence of drugs

Lancaster, N.Y. -- An Albion man has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

State police said Lucas Gaines, 34, crashed into a guardrail in Lancaster in Erie County.

Authorities said Gaines failed a series of sobriety tests and was arrested.

Troopers found him in possession of hashish, ketamine and MDMA, also known as ecstacy.

Gaines was not injured in the crash.
