Cleanup continues as storm's impact lingers

Rochester, N.Y. -- Wednesdays snowstorm may be slowing down, but its effects could be felt for several days.

Travel bans and advisories in most counties have been discontinued. Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks rescinded a state of emergency and travel restricitons as of 5 a.m. Thursday.

Officials to continue to warn wherever you are, if you have to go out, remember to be careful.

Several schools and businesses are closed or delayed Thursday due to road cleanups. Department of Transportation crews have been working throughout the night to clear out all of the snow.

If you plan on riding on RTS buses Thursday, keep in mind some will be running late because of the weather.

As for air travel, nearly everyone who hoped to fly out of Rochester on Wednesday simply couldnt.

A majority of flights were delayed, stranding some passengers for several days.

If you plan on flying on Thursday, remember to call ahead and check with your airline to see if your flight has been delayed or cancelled.
