POLICE: Man forges info to become SPCA officer

Victor, N.Y. -- A Victor man has been arrested after State Police said he forged information to become a SPCA Police Officer.

Police say Dylan Chase, 44, filed a peace officer registry form back in March with false information.

The false information led to Chase being appointed as a peace officer with the SPCA in Livingston County.

Chase is being charged with offering a false instrument for filing.

This is not the first time Chase has been arrested.

He was arrested in January for falsifying business records in Wheatfield, N.Y.
