Photos from inside the Medley Centre

Irondequoit, N.Y. -- 13 WHAM News has learned that code violations were found during Wednesday's inspection of Medley Centre by the Irondequoit Fire Marshall.

Friday, Patrice Walsh obtained photos from the inspection. You can see them on our Facebook page.

Greg Merrick toured the vacant mall along with town officials and mall partner, Jim Giuliano.

Giuliano told 13 WHAM News after that inspection, all of the violations had been fixed and Medley's owners were cooperating with the town.

But the report issued Thursday by the fire marshal reveals that violations still exist.

During the inspection Merrick said he discovered combustible materials, including furniture and containers of a liquid for the sprinkler system.

He also said the mall is still in violation of code that requires working sprinkler systems and fire suppression systems until the mall is free of combustible materials.
