Man thrown from vehicle charged with DWI
Rochester, N.Y. State Police ticketed the driver thrown from his vehicle in a crash on Route 104 late Sunday with DWI, speeding, and not wearing a seatbelt.
New York State Police said Tolgat Turmen, 22, was going eastbound on Route 104 near North Goodman Street when he lost control and hit a guardrail.
He was thrown from the vehicle but it kept going, crossing the median into westbound lanes of traffic, before hitting another guardrail.
Police said Turmen suffered a broken collar bone and road rash.
The investigation continues.
