Forced mail-order pharmacies facing ban

Albany, N.Y. -- Forcing people to use mail-order pharmacies could be banned under a new proposed state law.

Consumer advocates said mail-order drugs pose a privacy concern because they could be sent to the wrong address.

They said it takes away a patient's chance to ask a pharmacist questions face to face.

The bill has support in the state Senate and Assembly.
