'No regrets' for local Shark Tank rejection
Farmington, N.Y. -- A local entrepreneur said he has no regrets about rejecting an offer from investors on ABC's "Shark Tank."
Scott Smith, co-owner of Tie-Not water balloon products, appeared on Friday's episode. He asked for a $125,000 investment for 10 percent of the company and turned down an offer for 25 percent of the company.
"It was just way too low. We haven't lost a moment of sleep about turning that down," Smith said. "It was an amazing experience. Since Friday night, it's been an incredible ride."
Smith (pictured, left) said his phone has been ringing like crazy since the episode aired. For more information on Tie-Not products, click here.
